Early Pension Release of UK Pension

The early release of UK Pension funds is due to the change in retirement age from 50 to 55 in April 2010. What will happen is that pension providers will write to their clients giving them the chance to get their hands on a fairly large amount of funds.

This may be a good thing for some expecting a windfall amount however there is always instances of those who do not use their money wisely meaning what they will end up when they actually retire is far less than what they originally envisaged. There are opportunities to re-invest these funds wisely to generate greater wealth when you retire.

If you are one of those affected by the early release of pension funds please ensure you seek the right advice from an IFA. If you need assistance in this area please contact us and our IFA team will be able to give you sound independent advice on early release of pension funds.
